May 16, 2013 (NYC) – SoundCtrl FlashFWD Awards, which honor excellence and innovation in music and technology, announced the 2013 winners today!

Winner of ‘Best in Discovery’ went to  Songza,  the “music concierge” founded
by Eric Davich and Elias Roman.

Each year, ‘Best in Discovery’ recognizes the product or service that has most significantly impacted and improved the way fans discover and share recorded music. Past honorees include big names like Spotify (2012) and Hype Machine (2010).

The official ceremony presenting all awards will be held May 22 at NYC’s Gramercy Theatre featuring performances from EDM artist Robert DeLong (Glassnote Records), rapper Joey Bada$$, and dance crew iLuminate.
