Today iHeartRadio launched a new station featuring the NMS ‘Artist On The Verge’ Top 100 ‘Class of 2013!  The new station streams music from each artist on this year’s NMS AOV Top 100 chart, featuring a great selection of new and noteworthy singer-songwriter, hip-hop, rock, pop, grunge, EDM artists and more.

Every year, New Music Seminar carefully curates a comprehensive list of the hottest emerging U.S. talent, sure to break big soon (if not already!). Selected from over 1,000 nominees, only the most promising artists make the cut for the NMS AOV Top 100 Chart. Read more here about the NMS AOV Project and how AOV artists are chosen.

Just how hot and emerging are the artists selected by NMS for AOV Top 100 charts? Last year in 2012, rapper Macklemore was named an AOV Top 100 artist (see the full list of the AOV Top 100 ‘Class of 2012’ here) and already has dominated the majority of 2013 and continues to see growing success in his music. He and Ryan Lewis are the first artists in almost 55-years to take their first two singles, “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us” (both released 2013), to No. 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart’s history.

Ali Isabella, a 2012 AOV Top 100 artist, recently announced she will be touring with CIRQUE MUSICA to perform two original compositions created by Debbie Gibson.

Macklemore and Ali Isabella’s success in 2013 demonstrate the insight, knowledge, and expertise NMS has and continues to have in discovering talented new artists and gauging their potential future in the music industry.
